Giving Encouragement

We are in a time where we all need each other to survive. We need each other's testimony as a reminder that God still heals, delivers and makes ways out of no way. There are many people losing their jobs, homes, and love ones, yet they are saved and they are trying to hold on to God's unchanging hand, but situation and circumstances are trying so hard to knock them off of their faith walk.

If you had to encourage someone going through some challenging times how would you do so? What evidence from the Bible would you give them as backbone of your encouragement?
