Permalink Reply by Berkson Dierivot on July 4, 2011 at 9:31pm I am part of Community Christian Church's Ushers Ministry and I plan on joining 2 more as of now. What we do
is make sure that the sanctuary of our church remains a place where people can completely immerse
themselves in worship and in the word of God, without the stress of everyday living.
This includes (but is not limited to):
-Making sure people have reasonable seats
(as seats in the back of the church are reserved for parents with newborns/children ages (0-2years of age)
and should not be used for individuals attempting to hide/isolate themselves from the world/other Christians/God)
-Removing/patching any obstructions & obscenities from/in the church
(of which prevents or hinders an individual from receiving the message from sermon administered by the pastor.)
(The following maybe (but not limited to): revealing attire, of which we will attempt to provide a covering for the clothing left behind by the individual, arguments, which will lead us to escorting the individuals outside the church, Crying Babies, that parents admire and are a usual problem in seated settings)
-Conducting outreaches
(to demonstrate the will of the church to the rest of the community)

Wheather it is taking the trash out or cleaning bathroom or even helpping someone to the car or from the car or even holding a door! Just sharing Christ where ever you go. Even giving when there is a need. Just beiong there to share in worshipping with Christ. If everyone does what GOD lays on their heart then everything would be takn care of the power of being obedent to the voice of GOD!
Every need of the body would be taken care of and there would never be anything lacking!

Permalink Reply by Shirlynn on July 20, 2011 at 3:44pm just remember there is a blessing in pressing for the Kingdom of God! Just remember if you stop pressing it is hard to start up again. If your in the middle if the hill and your not at the bottom and not at the top it hard to start pressing again to get up to the same focre again. So never stp pressing forward no matter how hard it gets .
Love in Christ Jesus
