I hate to sounds so cliche` but what we need are a few individuals to make a large impact. How? I'm sure that work is currently in progress, especially during these times.
your answer has a lot of truth to it but how can we get this to our church community and then put it into action i am a leader at a church and i realy whant change
Don't think so, I believe god let things happen for a reason and the only way for us to learn and move on to the next glory is to have challenges and adversity. If not how else can we grow?
On point, I agree with Myrlande we first have to see where we are in Christ, are we doing what he has called us to do and where is he working in us and work along with him. Stay focus my sister you know what you are talking about.
I believe we play a major part in the condition of our state. fixing it comes down to prayer and then action. we like to discuss topics then sit around and make no movements, myself included. if we take our opinions and back them up with action then maybe just maybe we will begin to see some change.
Amen!
1. What condition? Economic conditions or Violence?

If you mean't economic conditions, I would have to say "no" because it all started out from a sin called greed, where banks gave out loans to practically each & every individual to sign for a loan to pay for houses when those same individuals were financially unstable. The net profit from these loans were enormus but it created some what of a slingshot effect that placed us in the hole we are in today.

2. If you mean't the Violence, it would be "not really." People have tried to speak about non-violence to the masses and it worked for the older crowd such as the "Baby Boomers," with MLK being around but it is up to us as a christian community to educate our kids and violence is running rampant amongst us young individuals. However, people of the church are different from people of the world so our churches would only touch the people that attend which are the christians.
the bible says we are the light and the salt of the world ( somewhere in Mat) however, Jesus said that for His sake, the world will HATE us. ( also somewhere in Mat) so to say that the "CHRISTIANS" are to blame........ well..... then when the time for the anti-christ comes, we r to be blame for that as well. and for the ones to blame "CHRISTIANS" that our "CHRISTIANS" look in the mirror and ask urself, how many times have you gone out for the "COMMUNITY" sake. how many out reaches do you go to, have you ever been to at least one, and if so was that two three or lets just say 15 enough compared to everyday.

i would like to take this time to be honest about something....... i would LOVE to see someone first go ALL OUT with there time, energy, money, and sanity, then ask questions like this, about where is everyone ELSE. not where is someone, but where is everyone ELSE. thank you. i feel much better. :D
