My Christ Spot

Drawing people closer to Jesus Christ's kingdom in a creative way!

Even today, wise people from all over the world are looking for Jesus!

Wise men still seek Jesus. Over 2,000 years ago, after Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, wise men from the East came to look for Jesus. They were seeking the One who had been born the King of the Jews.
When they found Him in Bethlehem, they worshipped Him and gave the baby Jesus gifts of gold, and incense, and valuable spices. They knew that they had found the King.
Even today, wise people from all over the world are looking for truth...for a savior...for the meaning of life. Come to Jesus! He alone is the King of Kings...the ruler of all nations...the Savior who died for our sins and rose on the third day. We can all come to Jesus and love Him and honor Him and worship Him today!
Scripture: "On coming to the house, they (the wise men) saw the Child with His mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh." Matthew 2:11

I think these "Wise" men are looking for fireworks. They are looking to see God's power move.. some way and some how, but they will never see it. That is because of their distance from God. The only way you can see fireworks from a distance is if it is lit, sent up above and explodes in the sky into different hues of colors. We as Christians are fireworks. Our holy spirit is the charge and in charge and it is up to us to show the wise men who the real God is by enduring the fire of God and letting it ascend us in faith so that we can explode and produce the captivating light of miracles the "Wise" men are looking for.

We don't have much time though because so many things are happening each and every moment that distract us and drive us away from our faith. Let us focus and make Matthew 2:11; Matthew 2011.
